Kendrea Compton bio

My name is Kendrea Compton. I used to live in San Diego, but we moved to San Jose right before I started kindergarden.

My family grows tomatoes and green beans in our backyard. I help my mom with the tomatoes by watering them and picking them when they are ready. My grandmother knows a lot about plants and gardening because her and my grandpa used to own the flower shop in willow glen. She is especially good with growing flowers. My family is italian so my grandma and mom are really good at cooking with herbs and different  spices.

Biography - Lilyana

My name is Lilyana Pantoja. I am originally from San Jose but I have also lived in Los Angeles and Sacramento. Even though we left L.A we still go there a lot for vacations.

I haven't gardened a lot, but I have gardened before. I also know about cooking because my mom usually asks me to help with dinner when she cooks. I have grown some fruit with my aunt in her backyard, but other than that, gardening isn't what I usually do. The experience of growing them is kind of boring because you are constantly going back and forth every day to water them and check on them. A person in my life who knows a lot about gardening would be my Aunt Helena. She knows a lot about it because she grows most of her fruit and vegetables. My favorite thing that she grows is the strawberries because they are usually sweet! More than likely, after this project, I will have a good amount of information about gardening and plants!
